How we made Abertay University an award-worthy campaign
Be bold, be brave, and be smart.
Abertay University would admit they weren’t as known as certain other universities, but they believed in their mission, their culture, and their credentials. They just needed to find a voice, to speak about what they had to offer, and find a way to be heard among the bigger-named crowd.
And so they did.
In collaboration we built a campaign showing the scope and ingenuity of their institution. Playing on the first two letters of their name, we were able to communicate a sense of the journey students could take with them. From A to B (take a look at the images).
The campaign contributed to an 11% increase in applications, and a 178% increase in website engagement. Effective bravery.
Now, they’ve gone from B(rief) to A(wards). Abertay University is a finalist in The Herald Higher Education Awards for ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Business Engagement in University’ among others. Best of luck to them!
