British Academy Summer Showcase coming this Autumn

Introduction

Established in 1902, few institutions are as iconic as the The British Academy, and having undergone extensive refurbishment, the Academy wanted to ensure it re-opened its flagship building with as much impact as possible. Over the past 18 months we have worked with them to clarify and extend their brand, helping them in their mission to ‘open up’ the Academy, and to bring its unrivalled humanities and social science knowledge freshly into the consciousness of the public.

What is the Showcase?

The British Academy addresses the unprecedented challenges that societies around the world face. Their annual Summer Showcase last week marked its reopening with a drive of events intended to open up its activities beyond academia, and as experts at communicating the value of an institution’s knowledge offering, we were perfectly placed to develop a proposition focused on championing the importance of knowledge.

The full opening of the Academy’s new spaces is still to come, and as we continue to develop all brand touchpoints through a revitalised lens, we look forward to sharing the full case study this Autumn.
